Welcome! I'm Melissa, a licensed independent clinical social worker. I have 10+ years of experience in a variety of mental health positions, including case management, ARMHS, county social work, substance use treatment settings, and hospital settings. I have a master's in social work from The University of New England. I work with a variety of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorder & personality disorders. Also, phase of life concerns from adjusting to an addition to the family to retirement. I work primarily from a solution focused prospective. Working to change how experiences affect today's behaviors. I work primarily from a solution-focused approach through narrative therapy. Processing how experiences affect today and how to work through it. Making meaningful change to improve relationships, functioning, and happiness. In-person available starting in February 2026. In the first session, we will get to know each other. Discuss wants and needs for therapy, as well as the diagnosis and therapy process.
